Job Description Job Description Robert Half is looking for an
ambitious Controller to join a well-respected company. The
Controller oversees all financial operations including supervising
and performing core accounting functions such as financial
reporting, timekeeping, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and
payroll. The Controller will lead the overall financial planning
and management efforts. This permanent position is for a Controller
who will work in the Philadelphia region. Responsibilities: Leads
and supervises the day?to?day operations of the accounting
department Drives the planning and execution of the annual budget
Oversees all financial and tax reporting Manages general ledger and
trust accounting activities Supports billing and collections to
ensure timely cash flow Monitors and manages cash flow operations
Maintains banking relationships and reviews daily bank deposits
Ensures trust accounts remain fully compliant with all regulations
and requirements Reviews and approves accounts payable Assigns
projects and guides staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and
high?quality work The ideal Controller candidate should have a
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA
preferred. Other requirements for the Financial Controller position
include and are not limited to: 5 years of progressive accounting
experience, Proven experience leading and supervising teams
Hands-on experience with legal billing software or comparable
accounting systems Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially
Excel Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast?paced
environment Excellent workflow organization and time?management
