Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical Therapist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving K-12 students in Salem, OR. This contract role starts on April 1, 2026, and concludes on January 1, 2027, with onsite responsibilities. The caseload will primarily cover leave, including support for summer school and jump start kindergarten programs. Additionally, there is the potential for full-time work in September, aligning with staff training requirements. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to students with special needs across the K-12 spectrum. Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs). Participate in summer school and jump start kindergarten programming. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services. Support training initiatives for school staff as needed. Qualifications: Active Special Education certification or physical therapy license in Oregon. Experience working in a school-based setting preferred. Reference from the most recent supervisor is required for consideration. Ability to work onsite full time with a 37.5-hour workweek.
