Constellation, a leading energy company in the U.S., is seeking a highly skilled Sr Regulatory Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while advancing our commitment to providing sustainable and reliable energy solutions. As a Sr Regulatory Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to influence regulatory frameworks and contribute to the strategic planning of energy systems that meet both current needs and future challenges. Analyze and interpret energy regulations and legislation to ensure compliance across all company projects and operations. Prepare technical and policy reports related to energy regulations and compliance activities. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop regulatory strategies that enhance operational efficiency and market competitiveness. Represent the company at regulatory proceedings and public meetings. Monitor emerging trends and changes in energy laws to proactively address potential impacts on the business. Advise on the design and modification of installations to meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals. Strong understanding of energy regulatory environments, including FERC, NERC, and state regulations. Proficiency in energy modeling software and tools. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders and articulating technical and regulatory issues. Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate changes in regulatory landscapes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certification in Regulatory Affairs (RAC) or similar is advantageous.
