Voice & Data Infrastructure. Our team operates with superior

priority in everything we do. Summary Structured AV is growing! We
are adding at least 2 Structured Cabling Technicians to our team.
We are looking for candidates who are experienced within the
Structured Cabling Industry utilizing NEC, and industry standards.
Manufacturer Certifications are a plus, however, we do provide
training and certification opportunities. Teammates shall be
required to work days, some nights, with occasional overnight
travel depending on project requirements. Position Overview
Individuals in this position shall be required to perform various
duties such as but not limited to; rough-in cables in various
environments such as ceiling spaces, conduits or basket tray. Build
support structures and pathways, pull cable, drop cable down
through walls, terminate cables, and perform fire-stopping
procedures and follow prints. Solutions oriented and attention to
details are critical. Applicants must pass a background
investigation, be able to work in both office and outside
environments, and climb a ladder. Candidate may work independently
or within a team. Structured AV is a Drug Free work place.
Candidates must pass a drug screening. Essential Responsibilities •
Implement network installation projects by learning project
documents, plans, specifications and planning material orders for
supplies, material and tools, and survey project sites. •
Documenting as-built drawings and project documents throughout the
installation and upon completion. • Pulling and routing cable in
new construction and existing structure commercial and production
environments. • Terminate to AV AND TIA/EIA 568 standards • Install
support structures (ladder tray, racks, j-hooks). • Read, analyze,
and interpret complex documents including product specifications,
wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings. • Deliver exceptional
customer service. Respond effectively to sensitive customer
inquiries or complaints. • Strong interpersonal and communication
skills are required. • Maintain control of assigned Company
property and ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating
conditions. Qualifications • Must have valid driver’s license with
minimum 3-year clean driving record. • Ability to handle physical
workload. Physical demands include but not limited to standing,
walking, or driving for long periods of time, work from high
places, climb ladders and navigate through small tight areas; and
lift up to 50 – 80 lbs. without assistance. • Familiarity with hand
and power tools. • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking
skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Experience in commercial
cabling. • Knowledge of VTC, ATC, networking hardware. • Knowledge
of TCP/IP networking and switches is preferred. • Working knowledge
of computers (Windows-based) and software. • Basic customer service
experience. • Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and
embrace a team-centric environment. Additional Knowledge Structured
