employees. We are seeking a motivated and driven Geotechnical
Project Engineer to join our team. ANS is a rapidly growing,
emerging civil engineering firm focusing on civil, geotechnical,
structural, and electrical engineering for renewable energy and
infrastructure projects across the US. “MUST-HAVE” PROFILE OF THE
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE INCLUDE: BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, or
related degree Valid US Drivers License, and a reliable means of
transportation Flexibility and willingness to travel, on occasion,
and for multiple consecutive days periods of times (est. up to one
week at a time, once per month) Strong communication and
organizational skills, ability to find solutions to problems, and
get-it-done attitude! Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting engineering, or related
field Experience in preparing Engineering Reports with strong
technical writing skills Experience with working within and leading
team environments Working knowledge of geotechnical principles and
engineering design “NICE-TO-HAVE” SKILLS FOR THE SUCCESSFUL
CANDIDATE MAY INCLUDE: Technical licensure track including EIT,
GIT, PE, PG, PMP, or similar. Experience in planning, implementing,
overseeing, and managing subsurface investigation programs Prior
experience with geotechnical investigations, including soil
borings, rock coring, and material testing Experience with design
of foundations, support of excavation systems, and preparing
reports Prior experience with geotechnical software (gINT,
GeoStudio, LPILE, ALLPILE, DeepEx, etc.) Familiarity with renewable
energy sector THE CHALLENGES THAT LIE AHEAD INCLUDE: Working
alongside a team of high-performing engineering and technical
professionals Performing geotechnical field investigations,
construction observation, and engineering evaluation and technical
analysis Preparing technical reports and summaries, and interfacing
directly with coworkers, clients, and stakeholders to communicate
findings and recommendations Completing technical analyses,
including foundation design, support of excavation, and other
engineering evaluations Actively participating in your career
growth, including the opportunity to join elective continuing
education courses, being involved in community and professional
societies, and managing projects and experiences that stretch you
