Key Job Details – Anesthesiologist Position in Atlantic City, NJ Practice Setting: Hospital-based, Level II Trauma Center Employment Type: Locum tenens anesthesiologist (travel contract) Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey Start Date: January 2, 2026 End Date: April 3, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 40 Shifts: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7am; weekday, night, and weekend call available (not required) EMR System: Cerner Qualifications – Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Board Certified Anesthesiologist (required) Active New Jersey Medical License (required) ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia (preferred) Clinical experience in open heart, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular anesthesia Proficiency with TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line placement Experience supervising Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) Familiarity with Cerner EMR (preferred) Minimum 1 year of clinical anesthesiology experience Responsibilities – Anesthesiology Jobs in New Jersey Deliver anesthesia care for general, cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgical procedures Perform IV regional anesthesia, plexus anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and local infiltration techniques Manage ventilation and perform TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertions Supervise CRNAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and hospital teams Document patient care using Cerner EMR Participate in call coverage (weekday, night, and weekend options available) Apply now to join our Atlantic City healthcare team as a locum tenens anesthesiologist.
