Job Description A community-based mental health program in New
York City is seeking a Family Specialist to join its Assertive
Community Treatment (ACT) team in Queens. About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Setting:
Field-based and on-site Responsibilities: Providing direct services
with a focus on family support Maintaining case records Conducting
group sessions Collaborating with families to identify needs and
resources Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 1 year
of relevant work experience Master's Degree in Social Work,
Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family
Therapy Ability to pass fingerprinting, background check, and OMH
clearance Solid assessment and documentation skills Great
interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Strong
attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience in
Family Psychoeducation NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Skill in
Trauma-informed Care
