Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Role Focus: Perioperative/PAT RN (pre-op post-op surgical patient support; high-risk OB experience in large hospitals prior travel required) Assessment: Age-span assessments (peds ? geri); thorough, accurate, systematic Clinical Care: Strong hands-on skills; supports team-based care; knows emergency equipment/procedures Documentation: Complete/accurate charting patient education; owns nursing process documentation Professionalism: Follows policies; identifies growth areas; accountable practice Patient Experience: Courteous, patient/family-centered; maintains HIPAA confidentiality Safety: National Patient Safety Goals; Universal Protocol; 2 identifiers; safe transfers/body mechanics Periop Unit Skills: Tailors care to procedure/anesthesia; assesses understanding and response across continuum Accountability: Prioritizes care based on condition changes; directs/coordinates patient care Education/Chart Completion: Pre/post-op teaching assessment; ensures chart completion PAT Duties: Reviews PAT orders for appropriateness/omissions (procedure, age, health status); supports timely testing Requirements: RN license BLS, ACLS (AHA) Education: ADN required; BSN preferred United Staffing Solutions Job ID 36749315.
