Commercial Forecasting and Competitive Intelligence will lead
efforts to analyze the competitive landscape and provide strategic
forecasts across Insmed’s pipeline and in-market products. This
role is crucial in helping to anticipate market trends, understand
competitive threats, and develop accurate forecasts that will
inform critical and strategic business decisions. The person in
this role will be a key member of the Commercial Effectiveness team
and will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g.,
Marketing, Sales, FP&A) to optimize estimation and articulation
of Insmed’s commercial opportunities. What You'll Do: In this role
you will lead the development of robust demand forecasts for both
in-market and pipeline products, considering clinical development
milestones, market access assumptions, and competitive landscapes
You'll also: Develop scenario-based models to account for various
potential market conditions, competitive actions, and regulatory
changes Provide / guide ongoing updates and adjustments to
forecasts based on emerging data and market developments Prepare
detailed reports and conduct clear presentations for senior
leadership, summarizing market dynamics and forecast adjustments
Lead the monitoring and synthesis of competitive data (e.g.,
clinical trial databases, market research, scientific publications)
to provide actionable insights for senior leadership and
cross-functional teams Communicate complex market and competitive
intelligence findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical
and non-technical audiences Work closely with Commercial teams to
provide insights that support strategic decision-making, including
portfolio management and market entry planning Collaborate with
Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure that forecast
assumptions are aligned with clinical trial plans, development
milestones, market launch plans, and commercial strategy Partner
with Finance and Investor Relations to ensure that competitive
intelligence and forecast data are integrated into corporate
financial projections and external communications Who You Are: You
have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or
related discipline required (advanced degree preferred)and 8 years
of leadership experience in developing product forecasts and market
assessments within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry ( will
consider related experience). Additionally, you have Extensive
knowledge of pharmaceutical data (e.g., sales, specialty pharmacy,
payer, longitudinal patient-level data) Experience with advanced
analytical modeling; experience with secondary data [e.g., APLD
medical claims data, audited TRx data (IQVIA or Symphony Health),
and epidemiology references] Strong blend of technical proficiency,
business acumen, and experience informing business growth and
opportunity Collaborative and influential leadership style, with
the ability to build strong partnerships across the organization
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) Agile team player;
able to adapt and execute based on evolving business needs, with
strong active listening skills Ability to extract and quickly
process key information, summarize needs of cross-functional teams,
and provide targeted and appropriate insights and recommendations
Skilled at leading without authority in a cross-functional
environment Where You’ll Work This is a fully remote role. It can
be performed effectively from anywhere while staying connected to
your Insmed team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings
