Job Description:

Advocates sound business practices to support mill operational processes to produce a quality product within budget Experience working in a Melt Shop environment with knowledge of different scrap types, fluxes, power/ burner programs, EAF refractory Collaborate with different departments to ensure successful accomplishments of company goals Responsible for implementing and maintaining all Job Safety Analysis and Work Instruction documents for the department Minimum of 10 years industry/ mill knowledge. Steel mill knowledge preferred Safety is the most important part of all jobs within; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.RequirementsQualifications: Steel Mill experience with a thorough understanding of Melting & Casting operations, scrap, alloy & refractory inventory management, and all associated processes.
