Job Description:

As a NW Deployment Technician IV at Amazon Web Services (AWS), the position involves overseeing and executing the deployment and operational health of network infrastructures within our Data Center Communities (DCC). This role is crucial in supporting AWS's global network operations, ensuring resilient and efficient performance tailored to the needs of some of the largest and most dynamic enterprises, including within the AWS Cloud Computing platform. The role demands hands-on technical skills in network deployment, troubleshooting, and a keen understanding of network hardware and software. Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment and devices. Plan and support network infrastructure following AWS standards. Document network deployment and maintain operational records. Proactively analyze and optimize network infrastructure. Collaborate with internal teams to design and enhance network architectures. Ensure compliance with company and industry safety guidelines in and around data centers. Support and solve issues related to network faults and performance bottlenecks. Proficiency in managing switches, routers, and firewalls. Familiarity with AWS Direct Connect and other AWS services is beneficial. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Capable of managing multiple projects and teams. Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools.
