This role is pivotal in supporting our client's operations by ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within specific locales. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods within local parameters. Manage the loading and unloading of freight to ensure safety and minimal risk of damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ascertain the working condition of the vehicle and compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and company regulations. Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines of the road to ensure secure and compliant transport. Assist in yard management, including vehicle positioning, organizing, and scheduling. Proficiency in operating commercial heavy vehicles Good understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards Adept at managing schedules and maintaining timely transport Effective communication and coordination abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record DOT medical card
