Job Description:
The Business Development Intern, Foodservice will be responsible
for developing sales opportunities and analyzing sales growth
within the foodservice channel in the USA and Canada. The candidate
will work directly with with sales, marketing, culinology, and
Platform teams.
He/She will analyze growth of Ingredion business within the
foodservice channel with a focus on Food Systems, Plant-based
Proteins, Specialty Starches, Sweeteners, Vegetable and Fruit-based
ingredients, and Specialty Industrial solutions in the Health and
Wellness and Pizza segments.Qualified candidates will have:
Progress towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Science,
Food, Marketing or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least
3.0/4.0 preferredAbility to work 40hrs per week during the summer
internship term Demonstrated experience with hands-on food concept
development formulation laboratory and/or pilot plant
equipmentKnowledge of common food processes, food ingredient
functionality and ingredient interactions preferredExcellent
organizational, verbal and written communication skills (technical
reports for distribution, presentations, data analysis etc.)Proven
proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
ect.)Ability to travel 10-15% domesticallyReliable transportation
required to get to and from facility each work dayTo be eligible
for consideration, candidates must:Currently possess unrestricted
authorization to work in the United States. Ingredion does not

in a Bachelor's Degree Program. If currently enrolled in an
