Description:Summary/Objective The Solution Architect is a thought leader who works collaboratively with internal and merchant stakeholders to influence the vision and implementation of eCommerce solutions built within the Oro Commerce platform. The Solution Architect will leverage technology research, commerce best practices and platform expertise to advise merchants on solutions to successfully integrate their digital and physical shopping experiences. In this role you will participate in pre-sales activities, conceptualize and prototype solutions, translate requirements into user stories and detailed tasks, support estimation and establish project timelines/milestones. The Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the engagement throughout the implementation process. Essential Functions Provide detailed demonstration of Oro Commerce features and capabilities to merchants. Identify any gaps in OOTB capabilities necessary to meet project requirements. Drive project discovery process. Document client requirements, proposed customizations and solutions. Work closely with the development team to communicate requirements, approach and proposed solutions throughout the development cycle. Configure Oro Commerce OOTB capabilities and workflows. Provide detailed demonstration of client implementation throughout the sprint cycle - inclusive of customizations, workflows and OOTB platform capabilities. Perform or facilitate QA of client implementation. Responsible for driving the successful outcome of the client UAT process. Dependent on project scope and size, the SA may be responsible for daily project, sprint and budget management. Work with internal team to create and/or improve on project execution processes and best practices. Work closely with client and client vendors to detail solutions and integration details.
