Job Description:
The Senior Sales/Pricing Analyst will work closely with the
Director, Revenue Management in maintaining, updating, enforcing
pricing policies and guidelines, creating scalable solutions to
internal processes and facilitate Sales requests.Essential Duties
and Responsibilities:Strategic Analysis:Provide analytical support
for Pricing and Profit Improvement initiativesAnalyze and adjust
pricing in order to balance profitability and market
competitivenessSeek enhancements/improvements for existing tools &
business processesEnsure accuracy of the inputs & assumptions for
customer profitability modelsLeverage BI tools identify potential
opportunities for sales & margin growthMonitoring and
Tracking:Sales compliance - Consistent review of into stock and/or
Proof of delivery pricing changes to ensure compliance with Sabert
PolicyPeriodic review of low margin items and programs and prices
that are out of line with current guidelinesEnsure compliance with
announced price increasesMonthly follow up to ensure agreed actions
are taken on above items/programsMaintenance and
Administrative:Plan, communicate, and execute Market Price
Adjustments or other mass price updatesMaintain the pricing
structure and database for Into-Stock and proof of delivery item
pricing as new items are added, items are phased out, etc. over
timeProvide on-going reporting to Sales Leadership in support of
tier price revisionsMaintain Master Price ListsAd-hoc
analysisRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Previous pricing
experience preferredHigh level of statistical and analytics
skillsGood business judgment, financial knowledge, and
organizational skillsCollaborative work style; ability to influence
and persuade othersContinually seeks improvements, relentlessly
curiousCapable of working at a detailed level; hands-onOperates
with a sense of urgency; ability to manage to deadlinesExcellent
communication skills - verbal and writtenRequired Education and
Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a number intensive
work environmentS. Degree in Business (Finance, Accounting,
Marketing); MBA a plus.Must have high level of proficiency in
Excel; Access, SQL, Alteryx, Microsoft FlowExperience with VBA for
automation of processesMicrosoft Power BI a plusSAP Business
Objects experience a plus
