9 AM- 5 PM M-F, summer hours 8:30 AM- 5 PM M-Thurs and 8:30 AM- 1
PM Fridays Responsibilities: Prepare fragrance samples in
appropriate product bases according to brief specifications.
Evaluate and document product performance after fragrance
integration. Conduct wash tests and other performance evaluations
as requested. Accurately prepare samples using internally developed
fragrances in various applications such as laundry, personal care,
and air care, based on the creative brief. Conduct wash tests and
performance checks to assess fragrance behavior in finished
products. Record sensory and visual observations post-application
and document any changes in product aesthetics or performance.
Collaborate closely with CFMs to ensure timely preparation and
evaluation of samples for performance and stability testing.
Maintain well-organized and up-to-date lab notebooks and digital
records in line with internal protocols. Prepare standard house
bases and variants when requested for ongoing or future projects.
Work with the Technology team to incorporate advanced fragrance
technologies (e.g., encapsulation, malodor counteraction) into
submissions. Maintain clear, consistent communication with CFMs,
Perfumers, and Sales regarding sample preparation timelines,
testing status, and project updates. Coordinate with CFMs to
support weight loss, evaporation, and stability studies. Provide
support across other application categories during peak demand
periods. Assist in cross-functional tasks and other fragrance
application roles as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in
Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field;
equivalent practical experience will also be considered. 1–2 years
of laboratory experience, preferably in fragrance, personal care,
home care, or related industries. Effective verbal and written
communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional
teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and
record-keeping skills. Good olfactive sense and basic color
matching ability are a plus. A reliable team player with discipline
to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
