Job Description Job Description Logistics Coordinator LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator with 2 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity within the consumer product industry, located in Hauppauge, NY. Responsibilities: Enter customer orders into internal systems and monitor shipments across multiple channels. Coordinate and track Air, Ocean, and Trucking shipments for both import and export operations. Apply logistics expertise to streamline shipping processes and improve transportation efficiency. Work independently while staying closely aligned with team members as needed. Communicate directly with overseas vendors and manage all incoming shipment details. Verify purchase order accuracy with suppliers. Determine appropriate timing for placing new orders. Set and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure consistent order fulfillment. Act as a proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership. Maintain strong attention to detail and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Provide persistent follow-up and coordination with vendors and customers. Monitor all import and domestic delivery timelines. Manage damage claims and ensure timely resolution with consistent follow?up. Maintain thorough oversight of orders from receipt to final delivery, keeping customers updated along the way.
